Pages Lane Closes Oct. 15 Through Jan. 25 for FrontRunner 2X Work
Drivers who use Pages Lane near the West Bountiful and Bountiful border will need a new route this fall. West Bountiful City says Pages Lane will close through the FrontRunner 2X work area from Oct. 15, 2026, to Jan. 25, 2027.
The closure covers Pages Lane in West Bountiful and Bountiful near City Park and I-15. The city’s posted detour is to use 400 North to cross I-15.
What to expect on the detour
The city expects higher traffic volumes on 400 North during peak periods while Pages Lane is closed. Work is planned mostly during daytime hours, and nearby residents should expect construction noise, dust and vibration. The city advises allowing extra travel time and using caution in construction zones.
FrontRunner service and train horns
West Bountiful says the work will not disrupt FrontRunner transit service. The railroad quiet zone also stays in effect during construction, although train horns may occasionally sound to alert work crews near the tracks.
What the city has not specified
The city’s notice, posted Sept. 29, does not give a daily schedule, a reopening plan for each phase, or any closure of the 400 North crossing. We also could not find a matching notice on the project’s own site as of Oct. 3. The city points residents to frontrunner2X.utah.gov/news for project updates.
The Pages Lane work comes just before West Bountiful’s fall cleanup week begins on the same Oct. 15 date, so expect extra traffic around City Hall that week. For more local transportation coverage, see our Davis County news page, plus the West Bountiful and Bountiful city guides. Dates and detours are set by the city and the project team and can change at any time; confirm with West Bountiful City at (801) 292-4486 or on its official site.
