Historic Downtown Farmington

Main Street Historic District • Farmington, Utah

Downtown Farmington is the city’s historic heart — the Farmington Main Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A tree-lined streetscape of pioneer-era homes, civic buildings, and one of Utah’s oldest meetinghouses traces the city’s evolution from a Mormon farming village to the seat of Davis County.

Landmarks

  • Farmington Rock Chapel (272 N Main St) — a fieldstone meetinghouse begun in 1862, among the oldest continuously used meetinghouses in Utah, and the site where Aurelia Spencer Rogers founded the LDS Primary children’s organization in 1878
  • Farmington Tithing Office (108 N Main St, built 1907) — individually listed on the National Register
  • Hector C. Haight House (208 N Main St, c. 1857) — an individually listed pioneer home
