The Parks

Andy Adams Park

7.5 acres in east Layton with two Little League fields, pickleball, a tennis court, a walking loop, and an adjacent pond.

Camelot Park

A small 2.6-acre west-Layton neighborhood green with a playground and open lawn (on-street parking).

Chapel Park

7.6 acres off Chapel Street loaded with courts — four pickleball, two tennis, basketball — plus two ball fields and a half-mile loop.

Chelsie Meadows Park

8 acres with two playgrounds, a soccer field, sand volleyball, and basketball and tennis courts.

Ellison Park

Layton’s largest sports complex — 44 acres with a splash pad, skate park, eight soccer fields, and ball diamonds for every level (no dogs).

Grey Hawk Park

10.2 acres in northeast Layton with three playgrounds, a fitness station, pickleball, and a pavilion and shelter.

Harmony Park

6.7 acres featuring an inclusive playground, pickleball, sand volleyball, a tennis court, and shaded picnic shelters.

Layton Commons Park

Layton’s signature 47-acre gathering place beside City Hall — duck pond, Vietnam Memorial Wall replica, 15 shelters, and event lawns (no dogs).

Legacy Park

A compact 3-acre park with four basketball courts, two tennis courts, and an electronic interactive playground.

Oak Forest Park

A shaded 10.2-acre east-bench park with two Little League fields, tennis courts, a playground, and a walking loop.

Sand Ridge Park

10 acres with a demonstration garden, sand volleyball, basketball and tennis, a pavilion, and three picnic shelters.

Vae View Park

7.4 acres on Main Street with four pickleball courts, a tennis court, a Little League field, and a playground.

Veterans Park

A half-acre memorial park on Gentile Street honoring local veterans, with a monument and picnic tables.

Woodward Park

10.6 acres with a soccer field, two basketball courts, sand volleyball, tennis, a ball field, and a half-mile loop.

Pavilion Reservations

Parks with a picnic pavilion can be reserved May 1 through September 30 each year. Reserve online through Layton City pavilion reservations, or call Layton Parks & Recreation at 801-336-3900. Each park page above lists its amenities so you can match the spot to your gathering.

Dogs in Layton Parks

Dogs are welcome on leash in Layton’s parks with two exceptions: dogs are not allowed at Ellison Park or Layton Commons Park. Please keep pets leashed and clean up after them.

Beyond the Parks

Layton’s outdoor life runs past the park edge. The Vietnam Memorial Wall replica stands at Layton Commons, and the city maintains miles of trails and several reservoirs.
