Farmington Festival Days

Farmington Festival Days is the city’s signature summer celebration, built around Independence Day. In 2026 it runs July 6–11, capped by a Saturday parade, an evening concert, and fireworks at dusk — with races, tournaments, a car show, and a full day of family activities at Forbush Park in between.

What to Expect

  • Parade — Saturday at 10 a.m.; float, school, business, and nonprofit entries with Mayor’s Choice and other awards
  • Farmington 5K/10K — Saturday 7 a.m. (packet pickup Friday at City Hall, 160 S Main), part of a race series
  • Tournaments — 3-on-3 basketball, pickleball, and corn hole (with age brackets)
  • Car Show — at the corner of Main & State
  • Chalk Art Festival, a Scavenger Hunt, and a High Fitness class
  • Breakfast in the Park — Saturday 7:30–9 a.m. at Forbush Park ($7/person, $30/family of five)
  • Forbush Park day — Saturday from 11 a.m.: entertainment, food trucks, vendors, a Farmers Market, and a petting zoo with pony rides (noon–4 p.m.)
