Davis County Library’s Summer Reading 2026 Runs Through July 31 — Free Programs and Prizes for All Ages
Summer Reading 2026 is underway across the Davis County Library system, and there’s still plenty of time to join. The free program runs June 1 through July 31 and is open to readers of all ages — kids, teens, and adults alike. Participants track the books they read, join creative programs, and earn prizes along the way.
It’s a simple, low-cost way to keep kids reading through the summer break and to give the whole family a reason to visit a branch. Sign up at any Davis County Library location, through the library’s mobile app, or online.
Where to go
The county operates seven branches serving communities across Davis County, including the Farmington headquarters at 133 S Main Street, plus locations in Centerville, Clearfield, Kaysville, Layton, and Syracuse. Headquarters hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
One heads-up for Bountiful-area families: the Bountiful Branch is closed for a major renovation that began in January 2026 and is expected to last at least 18 months. In the meantime, story times and programs are being held at the temporary Bountiful “Twig” location, so check the branch listing before you head over.
Find programs and events
Beyond reading logs, branches host weekly story times and a steady lineup of summer activities. You can browse the full schedule on the library’s events calendar, and you’ll find more family-friendly happenings on our own Davis County events calendar.
