We are trying to build a homeschooling book club for children 8-14. The point is for children to be able to build friendships through reading, grow leadership skills as they take turns guiding the discussion and picking the book club activity.
A structured time for children to interact with books, develop early literacy skills, learn to be in a group, pay attention, take turns, and participate in age-appropriate literacy-based activities.
