Farmington Trails
Foothill, canyon & paved trails • Farmington, Utah
Farmington likes to say its open space is less than ten minutes away — and the city’s trail network backs that up, from the shaded canyon path along Farmington Creek to the foothill Bonneville Shoreline Trail and the valley-floor Rail Trail.
Key Trails
- Farmington Creek Trail — the city’s most popular trail, following the creek up a tree-covered canyon; access from the Farmington Pond Trailhead (paved lot) or the smaller Farmington Canyon Trailhead
- Bonneville Shoreline Trail (Farmington section) — foothill-bench singletrack that ties into the regional BST
- Rail Trail — a paved former rail corridor through the valley

Maps & Resources
The city publishes a Master Trails Map and a 2023 Trails Book (free PDF online, or a hard copy for $20 at City Hall, 160 S Main), plus a Mobile Trails App that maps trails, parks, and historic sites. Start at Farmington Trails, or explore our interactive Davis County Trails map.
