North Salt Lake Utah July 2026: 4th of July, Pioneer Day & Summer Events Guide
North Salt Lake starts the holiday a night early — and that’s part of the charm. Liberty Fest lights up Eaglewood Golf Course on July 3 with food trucks, live music, a flyover, and one of south Davis County’s best fireworks shows, all doubling as the city’s America 250 celebration this year. Here’s your full guide to July 2026 in North Salt Lake, including this year’s fireworks restrictions straight from the city.
4th of July (a Day Early): Liberty Fest at Eaglewood
- Friday, July 3 — Liberty Fest at Eaglewood Golf Course (1110 E Eaglewood Dr): Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with food trucks and live music, a community flyover, and fireworks at approximately 10 p.m. over the course (nslcity.org).
- The celebration kicks off with the Eaglewood Auto Fest — see our full preview of Eaglewood Auto Fest & Liberty Fest 2026 for the car show details.
- Bring blankets and camp chairs, arrive early for parking on the hill, and plan for a late, spectacular night. The professional show goes on even with this year’s personal fireworks restrictions.

Fireworks Rules in North Salt Lake for 2026
Per the city’s official Fireworks & Festivities page (nslcity.org):
- North Salt Lake is keeping the Governor’s temporary ban on personal fireworks in effect July 2–5, 2026, due to extreme wildfire danger from hot, dry conditions.
- The city’s standing restricted area covers the east bench: east of Orchard Drive from the Bountiful City boundary to the south side of Eagleridge Drive, and east of US-89 from Eagleridge Drive to the south city boundary.
- Selling, possessing, or discharging fireworks not approved by the State of Utah — or outside approved dates — is a Class B misdemeanor.
- The city’s professional Liberty Fest show on July 3 is unaffected.
For the Pioneer Day discharge window later this month (July 22–25 under state law), check the city’s current restriction map and the Davis County fireworks restriction map before lighting anything — conditions and rules can change.
Pioneer Day (July 24) in North Salt Lake
July 24 falls on a Friday in 2026, and it’s a full state holiday. North Salt Lake hadn’t announced a city-run Pioneer Day event as of this writing — check the city calendar for updates — but residents are close to some of Utah’s biggest celebrations: the Days of ’47 festivities in Salt Lake City are minutes down I-15, and south Davis neighbors traditionally mark the holiday with parades and community events. North Salt Lake & America 250
This year’s Liberty Fest doubles as North Salt Lake’s America 250 celebration, marking 250 years since the Declaration of Independence (nslcity.org). Statewide, America250 Utah is coordinating a year of commemorations: America’s Potluck on Sunday, July 5, 2026 invites neighborhoods to gather over a shared meal, the Walk250 Utah challenge concludes this month, and the new Museum of Utah opens on Capitol Hill in 2026. A flyover, live music, and fireworks over Eaglewood is a fitting hometown way to mark the milestone.
However you celebrate this month — on the hill at Eaglewood, at a neighborhood potluck, or lining a parade route on the 24th — North Salt Lake’s community spirit is on full display in July.
