West Bountiful City Hall Hosts Oct. 19 Vaccine Clinic, Plus Cowboy Poetry Night Oct. 9
West Bountiful City Hall has two October events on the calendar that haven’t gotten much attention yet: a community vaccine clinic run with the Davis County Health Department, and the Arts Council’s Cowboy Poetry night.
Vaccine clinic: Monday, Oct. 19
The city will host a vaccine clinic with the Davis County Health Department on Monday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 5 p.m. at West Bountiful City Hall, 550 N. 800 West. According to the city’s event listing:
- All ages are welcome.
- Bring your insurance cards.
- Vaccines listed as available: flu, RSV, COVID, shingles and pneumonia.
The listing does not say whether appointments are needed or what the cost is for people without insurance. For those details, the city lists the health department’s number, 801-525-5020. Having a clinic at City Hall can save a trip for families and older residents who would rather stay close to home.
Cowboy Poetry: Friday, Oct. 9
The West Bountiful Arts Council Fall Concert Series continues with Cowboy Poetry on Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The city describes it as an evening of music, poetry and storytelling built around cowboy culture, featuring local performer Kim McKean. It’s billed as a family-friendly night out.
The Arts Council has also announced its next concert: Suzie Carter’s “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” on Friday, Nov. 13.
