Voting With a Disability or Need Help? Davis County Accessible Voting Options for Nov. 3

If marking a paper ballot is hard for you, Davis County has other ways to vote before the polls close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Early voting ended Oct. 30, so the options below apply to Election Day and to ballots you have not yet returned.

Can I vote privately if I can’t mark a paper ballot?

Yes. According to the Davis County Clerk, every early voting and Election Day voting center is equipped with accessible voting machines so voters can cast a ballot privately and independently. On Nov. 3, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Find your location on the Clerk’s Where to Vote page, or see our list of every polling place and drop box.

What if a disability keeps me from using the mailed ballot?

The Clerk’s accessibility page says voters whose disability prevents them from marking the mailed paper ballot can request an electronic ballot by calling 801-451-3213. The page does not list a request deadline, so call as early as you can. The TDD line is 801-451-3228, and the office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Room 104 of the Davis County Administration Building, 61 S. Main St., Farmington.

Can someone help me at the polls?

The Clerk says you may bring someone with you, or you may ask a poll worker for help. Read the county’s Elections and Accessibility page for the current wording. The page does not mention curbside voting, so call the Clerk before you go if you need that.
