On Oct. 27 the Davis County Commission voted 2–1 for a $21.4 million construction contract amendment for the new animal care facility and approved a $9.2 million frontage road agreement near Hill AFB.
UDOT says the new I-15 interchange at 1800 North in Sunset opens to Hill Air Force Base only in November 2026. Public on- and off-ramps for Sunset and Clinton are listed for 2027.
