Sunset Senior Services: Help Lines, the North Davis Senior Center and Oct. 14 Bingo
Sunset City keeps a Senior Services page that pulls together help lines, county programs and local activities for older residents and the people who care for them. With fall here and the holidays ahead, it is a good time to know where to turn. Here is a plain-language guide to what the city lists.
Your nearest senior center
Sunset residents are served by the North Davis Senior Activity Center at 42 S. State St. in Clearfield. The city lists its hours as 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except county holidays. The phone number is 801-525-5080.

Something to do this month
Sunset also hosts activities for seniors at City Hall. The next one on the city calendar is Seniors Bingo Day on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. in the Sunset Room at City Hall, 200 W. 1300 N. The city asks players to bring a small gift to donate as a bingo prize.
Why it matters
Many of these services are easiest to use before a crisis, whether that means knowing who to call about a suspicious phone call or finding a caregiver class for a family member. If you help an older neighbor or parent in Sunset, the city’s page is a handy one to bookmark.
