This Week in Kaysville: Planning Commission, Columbus Day Closure, City Council (Oct 8–15)
A short week on Kaysville’s official calendar: two scheduled city meetings, a holiday closure for City offices, and a monthly gathering for local business owners.
On the calendar
- Business Supporting Business meeting — Tuesday, Oct. 13, 8–9 a.m. at the Business Resource Center at Davis Tech, 450 Simmons Way, Kaysville. The city holds these meetings on the second Tuesday of most months so local business owners can meet one another and learn what resources are available. To ask about presenting at a future meeting, call 801-546-1241 or email businesslicensing@kaysville.gov. See the Kaysville calendar for details.
Meetings
The Kaysville Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. The City Council meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. Agendas are posted ahead of each meeting, and nothing has been decided until the bodies meet. Agendas and meeting notices are linked on our Kaysville page.
Around town
Kaysville City offices are closed Monday, Oct. 12, for the Columbus Day holiday, according to the city calendar. Offices are expected to reopen on the next regular business day.
