Syracuse Planning Commission Nov. 3: Hearings on a Light-Commercial Rezone, a 2-Lot Split and a Home Preschool
Syracuse’s Planning Commission is scheduled to hold three public hearings on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1979 W. 1900 South. These are hearings, not decisions. The city’s public hearing notice lists the requests below.
What is on the Nov. 3 hearing agenda?
- Minor subdivision. Mabel Murray-Moss has asked to divide about 0.67 acre at approximately 741 W. 3700 South into two lots. The property is in the R-2 zone.
- Zoning amendment. Michael Hampton has asked to rezone about 0.41 acre at approximately 1782 W. 1700 South to LC (Light Commercial).
- Conditional use permit. Cressy Meese has requested a major home occupation permit for Tiny Quest Adventure Preschool at 2650 S. 2000 West, in the R-2 zone.
The notice does not describe what is planned for the Hampton property beyond the requested zone, and it does not say how many children the preschool would serve. The commission’s vote, if any, will be reported once the city posts the outcome.
How can I comment?
