Syracuse CHaRM Hard-to-Recycle Drop-Off

Syracuse City and the Utah Recycling Alliance are hosting the city’s first Collection of Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) drop-off. Bring household items that can’t go in a curbside can: batteries, electronics and TVs, small appliances, bikes and parts, ink cartridges, unbroken light bulbs, plastic film and bags, clean white block Styrofoam, scrap metal, ski and snowboard gear, socks, and oral-care items.
Fees: mattresses and box springs $20 each; car and truck tires $8 each (limit four per vehicle, no commercial or semi tires; bike tires and tubes free). Everything else is free. Household items only, no businesses. Reserve a spot on the event’s Eventbrite page.
Getting there: enter the Park and Ride from 2000 West, check in at the east end, then follow the lanes past the drop-off stations. See the site map below.
