Fiddler on the Roof

Tradition takes center stage in this 9-time Tony Award–winning musical! Maintaining cultural and religious tradition is of utmost importance in the Jewish village of Anatevka. Tevye, a poor dairyman who dreams of striking it rich, tries to honor his heritage as he and his wife raise their five daughters with humor and heart. Tensions rise when his daughters begin to make their own decisions regarding tradition, faith, love, and culture in the midst of an uncertain future for their community. The universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality, and religion, and will leave you feeling joy, sadness, introspection, and inspiration.
