DESCRIPTION:The 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America offers an opportunity to reflect on a history shaped by challenge\, change\, and resilience\, and on a future that continues to unfold.  The Davis Arts Council’s 250 and Counting exhibition asks artists to approach this milestone not only through theme\, but through artistic process.\nArtists are invited to create a work consisting of 250 or more intentional actions – marks\, strokes\, stitches\, knots\, lines\, cuts\, or other repeated gestures. DESCRIPTION:PORTZLINE MUSIC ACADEMY’s music and movement class is designed to facilitate the healthy development of 0-5 year old children\, attending with their parent(s) or caregiver. Each class will have 15 minutes of free play with musical instruments\, supervised by parents and teacher. Then there will be 45 minutes of structured musical activities led by the teacher\, that include movement\, singing\, playing musical instruments\, and simple music games. These activities help children progress in their musical\, language\, small & large motor skills\, self-control\, and social abilities.

DESCRIPTION:The 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America offers an opportunity to reflect on a history shaped by challenge\, change\, and resilience\, and on a future that continues to unfold.  The Davis Arts Council’s 250 and Counting exhibition asks artists to approach this milestone not only through theme\, but through artistic process.\nArtists are invited to create a work consisting of 250 or more intentional actions – marks\, strokes\, stitches\, knots\, lines\, cuts\, or other repeated gestures.
