Come celebrate the pioneers practicing faith in crossing the plains to enter the Salt Lake Valley on July 24th 1847 AND the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence securing our freedoms in this free land\, the United State of America. We are so grateful!\nDates: Friday\, July 24th: park games\, entertainment and food 5pm-9:30pm (games end at 9pm\, food open until 9:30pm)\n8pm Concert in the Bountiful City Park: Jenny Oaks Baker and family performing “American Mosaic”\n9am Saturday\, July 25th: 9am Handcart Day Parade\, the 2nd largest parade in Utah! (The 1.8 mile parade route starts at 1500 South Main Street and proceeds north to 400 North\, then turns west to end near Bountiful City Park)\n10am-3pm Park Activities (These are the same on both Friday and Saturday night).  Some activities include: Fish Pond\, Drone Flight\, Face Painting\, Free game area that includes Gunny Sack races\, 9 Square\, and Corn Hole to name a few. DESCRIPTION:July 25\, 2026\nHandcart Half Marathon\nOur half marathon course is a great course! It’s not your typical “downhill canyon” Utah course\, but we think that’s what makes it great! It’s mostly flat\, with a few slight inclines. (Total gain: 187 ft / Total descent: 161 ft). You’ll get to head out to the legacy trail for about 5 miles of the half and you’ll head through the beautiful city streets of Farmington\, Centerville and Bountiful! The early race start help you beat the heat of July!\nFrontier 5K\nThis is the course we use for all of our 5K races! If you’ve run with us before\, it’s fairly easy…. All right hand turns and pretty flat! There will be one aid station about ½ way through which will provide water\, Gatorade and first aid to any in need. It is located half way through the race at Porter Lane (1600 N) and Main Street. We do not close any roads for our races\, please be safe and know the course!\nPioneer Pete 1K\nFor the 1K\, it’s also all right turns! Pioneer Pete will lead the way for all 1K runners. The 1K starts in the parking lot behind our facility. Look for a large sign\, that says “1K START” which will be right near the bowery’s north end. The route goes around our facility and ends back in the same parking lot it started in. We ask that all 1K racers stay on the sidewalk\, know where to go (the course)\, and have an adult accompany them if they are under 5 years old. All 1K racers should pay extra close attention to our parking lot entrances!
